I really thought I was going to like Miyoko’s, so maybe my expectations were just too high, but the one I bought tasted way too salty to me.
I tried it on toast first, then mixed it into pasta, thinking maybe it would work better that way. But all I could really notice was the salt, and it kind of took over the whole dish.

Maybe it’s just my taste buds or I’m using it wrong, because I know other people seem to enjoy it. But for me, it didn’t really work, and I probably wouldn’t buy it again

The box showed up crushed, and there was leakage inside. Compared to other orders I’ve received, this packaging felt careless and definitely didn’t hold up well during shipping.

I really wanted to like this, and maybe I just tried it at the wrong time, but it didn’t quite work for me.

The texture felt a little too thick and sticky in my mouth, not as smooth as I was expecting. I even tried it on toast, thinking that might help, but the mouthfeel still kind of threw me off.
I can see other people being fine with it, so maybe it was partly bad timing on my end, but I don’t think I’d pick it up again

I bought this thinking it would be a cleaner option, but the ingredient list was kind of a letdown. It just felt a bit too processed for what I was expecting, especially for the price. So yeah, I don’t think I’ll be ordering it again.

These work well for my dairy allergy, which is great, but a lot of them have cashews. I have to read every label really carefully, and it gets annoying having to put in that much effort just to find something safe...

The flavor is totally fine, no complaints there. But reading between the lines, this is one of those spreads that’s a bit picky about temperature. If it’s straight from the fridge, it can drag and tear up the bread, which gets annoying. Let it sit out for a few minutes, though, and it spreads much better.

I tried this and, the fat content is just higher than I personally like. I’m not super strict with nutrition labels or anything, though I do get weirdly into reading them sometimes, like when I’m standing in the kitchen waiting for coffee to brew, but this one felt a bit too rich for me. Probably fine for someone who doesn’t mind that, but it’s not really the best fit for what I’m looking for.

I’ve used Miyoko’s butter and cheese a handful of times now, mostly just messing around in the kitchen, and it’s kind of a mixed bag. The butter was really good on toast, like with jam or just a little salt, and it worked fine for easy stuff like sautéing mushrooms, frying an egg, making grilled bread, or tossing with noodles. But when I tried baking with it, like cookies, biscuits, and a quick loaf cake, it didn’t always behave the way regular butter does for me.
The cheese has a nice flavor, and I liked it in things like quesadillas, pasta, a bagel sandwich, and on top of roasted veggies, but the melt isn’t always super smooth. If the pan gets too hot, it can turn a little oily, like on pizza, nachos, or a grilled cheese if I’m not paying attention. I’d still buy it again because the taste is good, but I’d use it more for certain things instead of assuming it’ll work in every recipe.

One of the items was a bit squished, though thankfully still usable. It wasn’t a total disaster, but I definitely expected better packing. Overall it was okay, just wish the delivery side had been handled with a little more care.

I ordered this sometime last week, or maybe the week before, and when it showed up everything was already warm. The cold pack was in there, but it barely felt cold at all and didn’t seem to do much. Disappointing.
